Working with Light:

I have always prefered black and white photography in which the role of lighting becomes much more pronounced. I have used filters or mirrors and experimented with underexposing, overexposing or superimposing here to play with different ways light affects the film through the lens. This was the most fun part of my exploration. I choose to work with analogue cameras because how the photographs end up partly depends on the camera features, the material used and the environment such as lighting, temperature and the development process. I acknowledge photography at its most basic definition: painting with light brushes and tonalities.
